What is the dress code at the Flagstaff House?
As this is not your typical night out on the town, please come dressed for the best in Colorado fine dining. Our atmosphere is warm and sophisticated and to reflect this environment we maintain a business casual dress code. Though no attire is required to dine at the Flagstaff House, we invite you to look your finest and kindly request no -shorts, hats or athletic attire.
Can I request a table along the window or a table with a view?
Due to the very high demand for window tables, we always have and always will, seat our tables on a ‘first come, first serve basis.’ Most all the tables within our restaurant do obtain a very lovely view of both the city of Boulder and the surrounding Rocky Mountains. We will make sure to seat you at the best available table upon the time of your arrival. All patrons, occasions and celebrations are special at the Flagstaff House. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding any reservation all tables will be seated on these terms. Please enjoy the company you choose to dine with, and we will take care of the rest.
Is the Flagstaff House an appropriate place for children to dine?
Children of all ages are welcome at the Flagstaff House albeit we are notably not a child friendly restaurant. Please note that children can have a huge effect on other guests’ dining experiences and in turn affect the restaurant environment and disrupt service, which is unsuitable for other guests. Children are the responsibility of their guardians at all times and we respectfully ask that they remain seated while dining. We offer a 3 course kids menu for $62 for children 12 and younger. The dining experience at the Flagstaff House is lengthy, often eclipsing 3 hours. Please prepare accordingly. We do not allow for the use of tablets or phones to entertain children and request items like this be turned off as to not disrupt the other guests in the restaurant.
Can I use my cell phone or tablet while dining?
On behalf of The Flagstaff House and our guests we kindly request that diners do not use cell phones in our dining rooms aside from taking photos.
Can the Flagstaff House accommodate dietary restrictions?
As our menu may not directly show it, we are a gluten free, dairy free, vegan friendly restaurant. Each of our plates are composed from scratch which allows us to be flexible and creative whenever it comes to modifying plates to best suit the needs of our diners. While we are stringent with precautions taken, we are unable to give 100% assurance that all of our preparations are free from cross contamination.

Does the Flagstaff House have a ‘Happy Hour’?
As we are not currently offering any “happy hour” services. We do encourage guests to come enjoy our freshly updated lounge and bar area for a la carte service. This area is seated on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis, beginning at 5pm daily.
We take reservations daily for full dinner service only, a sample of our menu can be found on this link. Weather permitting, we seat our reservations tables throughout the entire restaurant, including our patio.
Are ‘a la carte’ dining options available?
At the Flagstaff House, we offer two different menu formats, the Chefs Tasting Menu and our Four Course Menu. Both menus offer an incredible array of dishes in a progressive format. Meaning that they are intended to be ordered as a series, not as individual courses. Our Executive Chef and Partner, Chris Royster, has carefully curated a menu offering that is the perfect amount of food for our diners. We find that if a guest is to only order one or two courses that they may leave feeling dissatisfied with their amount of food. Therefore, we highly advise for consumption of the entire menu format. Please note that our reservations are for full dinner service only. If you are inquiring about joining us for drinks, appetizers, or desserts. Then we offer our freshly renovated bar and lounge area for your enjoyment
Can I pre-order a bottle of wine to have on our table?

Can I order a special bouquet of flowers to have on our table?
As we do not have an “in house” florist. We do recommend contacting ‘Boulder Blooms,’ in advance of your reservation to make arrangements (no pun intended). They can be reached by calling (303)494-5678.
Can my dog sit with us while we dine?
Sorry, we love animals at the Flagstaff House, but we do NOT allow pets into our restaurant.
Can I bring in a cake or bottle of wine to enjoy for dinner?
The Flagstaff House prohibits guests from brining any outside food or beverage into the establishment due to Colorado Law.
Do ride share companies pick up and drop off at the Flagstaff House?
As taxi services are scarce in the Boulder area, most rideshare businesses are readily available for both drop off and pick up. We ask that all guests plan transportation accordingly for their visit, especially if they intend to consume any alcohol. Please drive safely and drink responsibly.
