Questions

As this is not your typical night out, please come dressed for the best in Colorado fine-dining. Our atmosphere is warm and sophisticated, and to reflect this environment we maintain a business casual dress code. Though no attire is required to dine at The Flagstaff House, we invite you to look your finest and kindly request for no t-shirts, hats, casual shorts or athletic attire.

We offer complimentary valet service at The Flagstaff House.

Due to a high demand for window and outdoor tables, we always have and always will seat our tables on a first come, first serve basis. Nearly all tables within our restaurant offer a notable view of both the City of Boulder and the surrounding Rocky Mountains. We will welcome you to the best available table upon the time of your arrival. All patrons, occasions, and celebrations are special at The Flagstaff House and are treated equal. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding your reservation, all tables will be seated on these terms.

Children of all ages are welcome at The Flagstaff House, albeit we are understandably not a child-friendly restaurant. Children can have a large effect on other guests’ dining experiences and in turn affect the restaurant environment and disrupt service. Children are the responsibility of their guardians at all times and we respectfully ask that they remain seated while dining. We offer a three-course kids menu for $62 for children 12 and younger. Please know the dining experience at The Flagstaff House is lengthy, often eclipsing three hours. We do not allow for the use of tablets or phones to entertain children and request items like this be turned off as to not disrupt the other guests in the restaurant.

On behalf of The Flagstaff House and our guests we kindly request that diners do not use cell phones in our dining rooms aside from taking photos.

Though our menu may not directly show, we are a gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan-friendly restaurant. Each of our dishes are made to order which allows us to be flexible and creative whenever it comes to modifying plates to best suit the needs of our diners. While we are stringent with precautions taken, we are unable to give 100% assurance that all of our preparations are free from cross contamination.

In relation to your needs and interests, your server will speak with our chefs about some of the possibilities that we have for you that evening. Menus at The Flagstaff House change and evolve daily based on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

We currently offer two menu formats, the Chef’s Tasting Menu and our Four-Course Menu. Both menus offer an array of dishes in a progressive format, meaning they are intended to be ordered as a series rather than individual courses. Our Executive Chef and Co-Owner, Chris Royster, has carefully curated menu offerings that are the perfect amount of food to be enjoyed by our diners. We find that if a diner is to only order one or two courses that they will leave feeling dissatisfied with the amount of food. Therefore, we highly advise for enjoyment of the entire menu. Please note that reservations are available for full dinner service only. If you are inquiring about visiting us for drinks, small bites, or just dessert, we welcome you to experience our bar and lounge area.

Of course you can! Please contact [email protected] or call 303-442-4640 to make arrangements.

As we do not have an in-house florist, we recommend contacting Boulder Blooms in advance of your reservation to make arrangements.

Sorry, we love animals at The Flagstaff House but do not allow pets into our restaurant.

The Flagstaff House prohibits guests from bringing any outside food or beverage into our establishment due to Colorado Law.

As taxi services are scarce in the Boulder area, most rideshare businesses are readily available for both drop-off and pick-up. We ask that all guests plan transportation accordingly for their visit, especially if they intend to consume any alcohol. Please drive safely and drink responsibly.

For reservations of six people or more, a 20% service charge will be added to your bill.

Yes!  The Flagstaff House offers a variety of rooms and terraces accommodating 10-150 people for weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, and everything in between.  Visit our Private Events page for more information.
