Assistant Dining Room Manager
Kit Sawyer is the Assistant Dining Room Manager at The Flagstaff House and is the newest member of the restaurant’s management team. Kit grew up an hour west of Chicago in DeKalb, IL and graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University with a B.A. degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Art.
Kit brings 10 years of experience working in the hospitality industry to her position at The Flagstaff House. She began as a host at a local restaurant when she was 16 years old and eventually became a server, while acquiring some back-of-the-house experience. During this time, Kit realized that she enjoyed the fast pace and social aspects that came along with working in restaurants.
As a child, Kit spent many summers, vacationing with her family at Drowsy Water Ranch (DWR), in Granby, CO. After graduating high school, she went on to spend seven summers working at the ranch, first as a server and then as head of the wait staff. Kit’s years at DWR were pivotal in developing her love of the hospitality industry, as well as, the state of Colorado.
Kit is thrilled to be a member of The Flagstaff House team. In her spare time she loves to read, spend time with friends, and try new restaurants in the Boulder and Denver areas.
