Russell Senser brings a deep passion for hospitality and wine to his role at Flagstaff House. He began his restaurant career at age 16 quickly rising through the ranks to Head Waiter.
After studying Biochemistry and ballet at Colorado State University, Russell honed his expertise in San Francisco at world-renowned, three-Michelin-starred venues – Quince and COI Restaurant. There, as a Dining Room Captain, he specialized in guiding guests through multi-course tasting menus with thoughtful wine pairings.
His passion for wine continued to grow at Maple & Ash, where he began his sommelier career, followed by leadership roles at Enchantment Resort and Paradise Valley Country Club in Arizona.
Today, Russell is dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences, pairing exceptional wines with cuisine, and sharing the stories of winemakers and the world of wine. Outside the restaurant, he enjoys hiking with his French bulldog, cooking, and exploring new restaurants.
