As we conclude another remarkable year atop Flagstaff Mountain, we are filled with profound gratitude for our guests, our team, and the Boulder community that has shaped our story for more than five decades. Three generations of family ownership have taught us that our legacy is not defined solely by the dining experiences we craft, but by the incredible people who contribute to curating unforgettable moments at Flagstaff House.
Celebrating Excellence, Together
In 2025, we were honored to be featured in both local and national publications, including The SOMM Journal, Boulder Lifestyle, and DiningOut Magazine, each highlighting our continued evolution within Colorado’s fine dining landscape.
We are deeply grateful to have received Gold distinctions for Fine Dining, Restaurant Dessert, and Restaurant Service in Boulder Weekly’s 2025 Best of Boulder Awards. These recognitions, along with our 42nd consecutive Wine Spectator Grand Award, reflect the dedication of our team and the unwavering support of our community.
This year, we welcomed Wine & Beverage Director Connor Sullivan, whose leadership brings new depth to our globally inspired wine program, as well as Assistant Manager Kacey Johnson, whose expertise enhances our service standards and strengthens our events program. We were also delighted to celebrate Connor Sullivan and bartender Adam Riggs, who earned first place in the Ghoulish Games cocktail competition, an achievement that speaks to the creativity and skill of our beverage team.
Additionally, we were proud to be named one of OpenTable’s Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants, and to receive honors from The Knot, Zola, and Wedding Wire, recognizing our continued commitment to unforgettable celebrations.

To our Boulder community—our guests, partners, neighbors, and friends—thank you for an extraordinary year.

Looking Ahead to 2026
As we welcome a new year, our commitment remains steadfast: to offer genuine hospitality, support Boulder’s vibrant community, craft memorable dining experiences, and continue building upon the legacy that began 54 years ago.
“We’ve been here for over 50 years, but this place needs to stay here for another 50 years,” said Co-Owner and General Manager Adam Monette. “We owe this to Boulder, and we owe it to Colorado.”
We look forward to another year of connection, community, and elevated fine dining at Flagstaff House.
